    GLOW™ Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training

    GLOW™ Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training (30+ hours) with Amy Hopkins, RN, LMT, CCCE, E-RYT, is an educational, inspirational, and professionally transformational journey. It is specifically intended for both yoga teachers with a desire to work with, teach, and learn from this special population of women, and for those working or intending to work with women during the childbearing years in a professional role, such as Childbirth Educator, Massage Therapist, Doula, Midwife, or Nurse.

    With a refreshing balance of professionalism, compassion, and a relaxed sense of humor, Amy weaves her experience as nurse, massage therapist, doula, childbirth educator, yoga teacher and mother, to lead her students in developing a passion for working with mothers-to-be.
    THE 30 HOURS IS MADE UP OF PRENATAL YOGA TT 1 and PRENATAL YOGA TT 2. AMY’S “MASSAGE 101 – The Art of Giving and Receiving” CLASS CAN EITHER STAND ALONE OR COUNT TOWARD 10 ADDITIONAL HOURS TO THE 30-HOUR TRAINING.

    GLOW Prenatal Yoga School – Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training Part 1

    This 2-Day (10 hour) is designed for experienced yoga teachers or “birthing professionals or enthusiasts” that want to add prenatal yoga to their repertoire, or simply gain a better understanding of the pregnant body/mind and the many changes it undergoes – as well as how these changes affect a woman’s yoga practice. Whether you are looking to teach prenatal classes or assist pregnant women in your profession, or you are pregnant yourself, this class is beautifully suited for you!
    GLOW Prenatal Yoga School offers CE credit toward The Yoga Alliance.

    GLOW Prenatal Yoga School – Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training Part 2

    This 10-hour course is the optional continuation of the our 2-Day Prenatal Yoga Training – Part 1.
    During this time, we will delve deeper into the details of posture, breath, childbirth preparation, class dynamics, and hands-on experiential practice. Students will also practice- teach a class to pregnant students.
    This option is strongly encouraged if taking Part 1, and is for those desiring more confidence and comfort working with this special population.
    GLOW 2-Day Prenatal Yoga Training Part 1 is a pre-requisite for this training.

    GLOW Prenatal Yoga School – Mom & Baby Yoga Teacher Training

    This 2-Day training is designed for those who have completed GLOW’s Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training, (although not a pre-requisite) OR for those looking to gain experience and insight into the art and science of postpartum yoga for moms and their babies. Focus is on asanas and breath-work with intention toward restoration, re-strengthening, relaxation and opening. Connection of mind and body, mother to baby, and mother to mother are key elements of this training. Receive Yoga Alliance CE credit.

    Earn 14 NCBTMB CE hours in this 2-day course for professionals working with pregnant women in any setting – and looking to expand their hands-on skills. This training focuses on benefits, techniques, and contraindications of prenatal massage therapy; pregnancy anatomy, physiology, and psychology; Safe and appropriate positioning and draping for different stages of pregnancy; specific hands-on techniques encompassing various bodywork modalities, and working with the intention of birth preparation. Guided hands-on practice among participants makes this course invaluable.

    Supine, Prone, Side-lying floor positions, as well as some standing and seated positions, will be covered. No lotions or oils will be used and students will remain fully clothed.
